The problem

Your notes are useful only if you can find the thought again

As your voice note library grows, the hard part is not saving notes. It is finding the right thought later when you remember the idea, but not the exact words, date, or title.

  • Keyword search misses notes when the wording is different.
  • One idea can be spread across a brain dump, voice journal, and work log.
  • Old voice memos become hard to revisit without opening notes one by one.
  • AI memory search helps you find meaning, not only matching words.

The best details were sounds, smells, and small conversations rather than landmarks.

What made the trip memorable

Slow mornings, walking without a plan, and places that felt familiar quickly.

What did I want to remember from Lisbon?

Two ways to search

Use keywords when you know the phrase. Ask AI note search when you remember the meaning.

Keyword search is fast when you know the exact word, title, place, or person. AI note search is for the moments when you remember the idea, but not how you said it.

How it works

From a quick recording to an answer from your past notes

Voice Memory is an iPhone and Apple Watch voice notes app for building searchable personal knowledge from short recordings. Each saved memory can include voice transcription, an editable AI summary, categories, and the context needed to search notes later.

01

Record a short voice note

Capture an idea, reflection, reminder, decision, or memory from iPhone or Apple Watch.

02

Save the AI summary

Voice Memory creates a readable AI voice memo summary you can review, edit, categorize, and save with the transcript and optional audio.

03

Ask a natural-language question

Write the question the way you would ask another person. You do not need the exact words from the original note.

04

Get an answer from relevant notes

AI memory search uses the saved note content needed to answer the question and returns a concise response based on your library.

Who it is for

For people who think out loud and need their notes to stay searchable

AI note search is useful when your best thoughts are captured quickly, across many small recordings, instead of written neatly in one document.

Writers

Find old story ideas, phrases, themes, and reflections recorded before they were organized.

Founders

Search product ideas, customer insights, decisions, and follow-ups captured between meetings.

Professionals

Review work logs, project context, postponed tasks, blockers, decisions, and next steps.

Travelers

Search recordings about places, restaurants, plans, moments, and memories from a trip.

Personal memory

AI memory search becomes more useful as your saved notes grow

A single AI summary makes one recording easier to read. Semantic search connects the context across many saved notes, helping you revisit ideas and memories that would otherwise be forgotten.

AI note search helps different kinds of short recordings stay useful later:

Idea - Product

Searchable personal memory

Short notes become a library you can query when the original context matters again.

Work log - Friday

Decisions to follow up

Remember what you decided, what blocked you, and what should happen next.

Reflection - Pattern

Topics that keep returning

Find repeated thoughts across weeks of saved reflections and daily notes.

FAQ

Questions about AI search for voice notes

What is Smart Search in Voice Memory?

Smart Search lets you ask natural-language questions across all notes saved in your Voice Memory library. It returns an answer based on the relevant saved note content instead of only showing exact keyword matches.

How is AI note search different from keyword search?

Keyword search is useful when you know a word or phrase from the original note. AI note search is designed for questions where you remember the topic or meaning but not the exact wording.

Can AI search voice notes?

Yes. Voice Memory can turn short voice recordings into saved notes and AI summaries, then let you ask questions across that saved note content with AI note search.

How do I find old voice memos when I forgot the exact words?

Use AI memory search to ask about the topic, place, person, decision, or idea you remember. It is designed for cases where exact keyword search is too narrow.

Is AI note search private?

Saved recordings, transcripts, summaries, categories, and edits are stored locally on the device by default. When AI features are used, the required content is sent to Replicate for processing. Analytics do not include recording, transcript, or summary content.

Can I use AI memory search for free?

Regular keyword search is included in the free version. AI memory search requires a subscription.

Ask your memory

Save a thought now. Ask about it later.

Record one short voice note, turn it into a clear AI summary, and start building a personal memory you can search and ask.
